We opened on the corner of Michigan and 14th in Detroit in September 2005 with a meticulously designed interior paired with a gourmet spin on barbecue cooked fresh every day, a love of craft beer and a dedication to community. Over the next few years, SLOWS became a destination restaurant, featured on cable TV shows & in numerous national & local publications. In 2010, we opened our catering / carryout location, Slows To Go, in Detroit's Cass Corridor. From that location we operate our food truck as well as our gameday stands inside Ford Field, Comerica Park and Little Caesars Arena. In 2025, we expanded to two new locations: Berkley at 3087 W 12 Mile Rd, and Ann Arbor at 207 E Washington St.
